When we started Afsat communications in 1994 our vision was to provide data communication services within East Africa. I am honored to be here before you to say that we have achieved our vision. Infact we have gone a step further in our effort to satiate the customers needs by introducing a wide range of products to meet their requirements.

It is our aim to provide our customer with top quality service .To this end we market the latest VSAT terminals (Very Small Aperture Terminals), Wireless equipment and ISP (Internet Service Provider) services backed by one of the bestparts availability records in the East African market today and technically competent and trained manpower at our workshops to meet all product demands.

Our Professional standards are very high, backed by a 24-hours response team. All this is geared towards providing our customers with professional and reliable back up, all for customer peace of mind & convenience.

We will carry out a simulation test to determine the real effect of satellite delay on your application and also to determine the optimum bandwidth requirement. This process ensures that your investment gives you added value and clearly defines the potential of your equipment.

Our equipment allows incremental capacity growth as data traffic grows and are effective tools for LAN or WAN networking, image transfers, batch and interactive data transmission as well as interactive voice and video communication (where legislation allows). All our products carry comprehensive manufacturers warranty and are installed following the standards set by the manufacturer.

Upon installation we provide training on product use, maintenance & trouble shooting to the client thus ensuring that our client satisfaction needs are meet. We also under take maintenance for you investment to ensure optimum performance.

We control approximately 80 % of the East Africa data communication market. Currently our client based includes over 100 VSAT sites & 120 wireless installations in East Africa.
